SIU Campus Library

SIU is now accepting electronic signatures on many of its Adobe e-Form documents using Entrust Digital ID. There are several steps that must be performed before you can use electronic signatures.

IMPORTANT: A Microsoft Windows based PC is required to utilize Digital ID. At this time the necessary software is not available for any other platform (including Macintosh OSX and Linux).

Part 1: Set-up

If you want to begin signing e-Forms, you must:

  1. Request a certified Digital ID from the State of Illinois
  2. Install EESP software on your PC
  3. Set specific preferences for Adobe Reader 9 or X (10).
    • These set-up instructions assume an install of Adobe Reader 9. These instructions will also work for Adobe Reader X (10).
